Let's face it, we say some entertaining things. We, of course, being librarians. There is something deliciously hilarious about servicing the masses. Perhaps the hilarity comes from what servicing the masses does to our brains. Either way, we are pretty funny sometimes. That is why I am going to start cataloging the quotable quotes (to the people who make those fun mugs and notebooks, I mean no copyright infringement in saying those two words together).
